Dr. Strauch is very nice and he takes his time and we appreciate his time and professionalism.

I have been a patient of Dr. Strauch for over 10 years. When I first chose to have my hearing checked I asked him how you know when the right time to get them is. His answer was simpler than I thought it was going to be. He said “I have many patients who have hearing loss greater than yours that do not have hearing aids. I also have plenty of patients who do not have the hearing loss you have, but have hearing aids. The bottom line is that you are ready for them when either you or your family think you are. It’s really up to you.” Surprisingly, when I told my children I got them they said “finally!”, rather than making fun of me as I feared they might. I am very satisfied with both the hearing aids themselves and the services provided. Unlike the fear that I had they might be like wearing loudspeakers, they actually are digitally programmed to magnify only the frequencies that I cannot hear, which results in my hearing to be as normal as anyone around me. This helps a lot when the frequencies I cannot hear just happen to be near that of a woman’s voice!
